Before the 10:30 Worship Service, we go deeper. Two dedicated ministries — one for men, one for women — meeting simultaneously every Sunday at 9:00 AM to study the Word, grow in community, and build kingdom identity.
The 199 Men's Discipleship is not a casual gathering — it is a covenant of men who have chosen to stand apart. These are men who have made the Exemplary Men's Resolution: a solemn, Scripture-grounded pledge to lead their homes, protect their families, and walk with integrity before God for the rest of their lives.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, these men gather before corporate worship to study the Word together — holding each other accountable, sharpening one another as iron sharpens iron, and building the kind of brotherhood that sustains families, anchors communities, and advances the Kingdom.
"As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Systematic, verse-by-verse teaching through Scripture — equipping men with biblical literacy and doctrinal grounding for life and leadership.
Small group accountability relationships where men can be honest about struggles, victories, and the real challenges of walking with God in today's culture.
Practical training in biblical fatherhood, covenant marriage, and household leadership — grounded in CFADD principles and apostolic teaching.
Discovering and walking in the identity, authority, and calling God has placed on each man — refusing the world's definitions of manhood.
Men equipped to serve not just inside the church, but as visible, faithful leaders in the Spartanburg community and beyond.
The 9:00 AM session is intentionally positioned before the 10:30 Worship Service — so men arrive in the Word and ready to worship with full hearts.
Every man who joins the 199 makes this resolution — not a casual commitment, but a lifetime covenant. These are not suggestions. They are the serious resolves of a man answerable to God.
Founder and Senior Apostle, Apostle Quick provides the apostolic covering and vision for the 199 Men's Discipleship — a ministry shaped by his own testimony of manhood restored through Christ.
The 199 Men's Discipleship is led by appointed leaders within the congregation. Contact the church office to connect with the current men's ministry leadership team.
The Proverbs 31 Women's Discipleship is a gathering of women who have said yes to God's highest call — to be women of virtue, wisdom, strength, and service. Not a social club, not a conference circuit — a covenant sisterhood that grows together in the Word, supports one another in life, and carries the love of God into every sphere they occupy.
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, these women open the Word together before the congregation gathers for corporate worship — studying Scripture, building trust, and equipping one another to walk in godly womanhood in a culture that increasingly devalues it.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."
Rich teaching through Proverbs 31 and the full counsel of Scripture — exploring what God says about womanhood, identity, family, and purpose.
Authentic relationships where women can be real — supporting one another through marriage, motherhood, loss, triumph, and every season of life.
Biblical wisdom for wives and mothers — grounded in CFADD principles that strengthen the family unit and honor God's design for the home.
Helping women discover and walk in their unique God-given calling — beyond social roles, beyond cultural expectations, into kingdom purpose.
Women who carry the prayer mantle — interceding for families, the church, the nation, and one another in consistent, fervent, Spirit-led prayer.
Older women pouring into younger women — fulfilling the Titus 2 mandate of generational discipleship that multiplies wisdom across families and seasons.
Wife of Apostle Tommy E. Quick and a pillar of the women's ministry at Promised Land CDC, Lady Valerie brings over 40 years of covenant marriage, motherhood, and ministry to the Proverbs 31 sisterhood.
Appointed women leaders serve alongside Lady Valerie to teach, mentor, and shepherd the Proverbs 31 Women's Discipleship. Contact the church to connect with the leadership team.
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
